CUSTOM PRINTING

FULL SUBLIMATION

The process of printing a full-color design on sheets of high-performance polyester, to be cut and sewn into fully designed apparel pieces. The entirety of the garment can be designed including the sleeves, collars, fronts, and backs.

Unlimited color use, "no feel" designs. We can't guarantee that the design will perfectly align on the seams.

See our Custom Print Pricing Guide for pricing and production times.

PRINTING

The process of sublimation begins by digitally printing designs onto rolls of specialized paper with sublimation dye. The designs are initially printed backwards.

HEAT TRANSFER

We heat-press the printed paper onto sheets of blank white recycled polyester fabric which permanently embeds the image into the fibers. The image will never fade or wash out.

CUTTING

Each printed panel of the garment is carefully and individually cut using a Rotary Fabric Saw.

SEWING

Lastly, our sewing team carefully and expertly sews the panels together to create your finished garment.

SPOT SUBLIMATION

The process of embedding a digital, full-color design on polyester garments through a process of heat and pressure.

Design size up to 12" x 18", unlimited color use, "no feel" designs. Custom name & number included if within print area.

See our Custom Print Pricing Guide for pricing and production times.

PRINTING

Spot sublimation is just a smaller version of full sublimation. The design is first printed backwards onto a piece of transfer paper.

PLACEMENT

The printed design is placed onto the apparel item and carefully positioned for correct placement.

HEAT TRANSFER

The heat press is used to hold the paper and fabric together while heating the print to 380ºF. This process permanently transfers the ink onto the fabric.

COOLING

Once removed from the heat press, the garment is cooled, checked for quality, and prepared for shipment.

SCREENPRINTING

The process of pushing ink through a screen to create an image on apparel.

Design size up to 12" x 14", 4 colors max.

See our Custom Print Pricing Guide for pricing and production times.

SCREEN PREP

Designs are "burned" onto a silk screen using light-sensitive emulsion. After washing and drying, the screen is clamped in place and ink is added.

APPAREL POSITIONING

The apparel item is laid flat onto the print board underneath the screen, and checked to ensure proper positioning of the design.

PRINTING

A squeegee is used to pull the ink across the screen while pressure is applied to push the ink through the burned design.

DRYING

The garment is passed through a dryer to heat cure the ink, which helps to prevent any future fading.

EMBROIDERY

The process of applying a logo or design using colored threads woven through a garment.

Design up to 5" x 5", multiple thread colors. $60 one-time digitization fee.

See our Custom Print Pricing Guide for pricing and production times.

DESIGN

Our Sales Team and Art Department work together with our customers to create designs and select apparel items.

COLOR MATCHING

As with all printing processes, we take care to ensure that the colors of the final garment match the digital mock-ups as closely as possible.

STITCHING

The design is loaded onto the embroidery machine and special software is used to create plotting commands for the machine. Then the magic happens!

FINISHED PRODUCT

And voilà! The item is finished and ready to ship.
