The time has finally arrived! We've been gearing up the past few months for one of the coolest tournaments around! That's right, you guessed it, it's time for Hopu Ka Lewa! SAVAGE is headed to the beautiful island of Honolulu for this exciting destination tournament.

This year's theme is BROADWAY! We are sure to see some musically themed teams in attendance so get ready for the puns! The teams won't be the only ones channeling their inner Idina Menzel, the SAVAGE tent will have an interactive 'fill in the blank' script that we are encouraging all in attendance to participate in!

Rumor has it that our Art Director, Savannah, will be there manning the SAVAGE tent. She LOVES broadway, so be sure to ask her to sing a song or two while you're checking out all the awesome gear we have available.

This tank is a just a snippet of the what we will be offering at Hopu.

"Wait a minute, a tournament in Hawaii, why is my team not going?" Well, the bid process is extremely cut throat. Only the coolest teams get their bids to Hopu accepted. If you think your team can make the cut start planning for next year! Its never too early to start planning!

We've been gathering up all our sleeping bags and tents as we gear up for this weekend and head out to The Festy Experience in Arrington, VA.

The Festy Experience is a family-friendly music festival that was established in 2010. Go for a day or camp out and stay the entire weekend. Enjoy tons of craft food and brew while enjoying amazing music.

We partnered up with Festy in order to make them some sweet gear. So be sure to stop by the Festy merchandise tent and pick up some awesome Festy merch made by SAVAGE.

While you're in the area, stop by the SAVAGE tent and hang out! We will have plenty of games setup such as; Spikeball, Stiiicks, Cornhole, and Kan Jam. Stop by, meet the crew, play some fun games, and get your hands on some SAVAGE gear!

Of course, we jumped right in. Paul ended up being a member of the USA Ultimate Club Team Public Enemy out of Dallas, TX. Public Enemy made it to Club Nationals and they were in need of fresh new jerseys. With only a week to get something together, screen printed and fully sublimated items weren't an option... but spot sublimated whites could get done.

This past weekend, SAVAGE headed to the Capital Men's and Mixed Sectionals in Fredericksburg, VA. We did a little more than just sell this weekend. We parked our tent right next to the field that Richmond Floodwall played on all day so we could support two of our awesome employees—Keys Pattie and Austin Bartenstein—as they battled it out for a bid to the Mid-Atlantic Club Regionals.

Floodwall did just that by making it to the finals against Medicine Men. However, they came out just short of a win with a final score of 11-14. Floodwall will be heading to Mid-Atlantic Club Regionals in Reston, VA on September 10-11. On the mixed side of things, Sparkle Ponies took the crown and will be heading to Reston along with all the other Men's and Mixed teams that locked down a bid to Regionals.

SAVAGE also debuted our new Mystery Bags over the weekend! A super secret jersey or shirt inside of an awesome SAVAGE drawstring bag! What more could you possibly want? Keep an eye out for more SAVAGE mystery bags at upcoming tournaments.

Earlier this week, we asked YOU who you'd like to see represent the USA in the sport of Ultimate Frisbee at the 2020 Summer Olympics. With people from all over the country chiming in, we have some clear winners.

Like everyone else around the world, we're glued to our TVs watching Americans shatter world records at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. And as fun as it is, we can't help but wish we were watching Ultimate's debut at the games. With the news late last year that Ultimate was accepted by the IOC as an Olympic sport, there's hope that one day we'll be able to see the U.S. compete among the world's elite at the Olympics. In honor of that dream, we've created an Ultimate Team America Olympics jersey—and we're giving them away to the players you think should make the team. 

For the next three days, you can vote for your Ultimate Olympics fantasy team on Twitter. The five players with the most votes—two men, two women, and one runner-up—will get a free customized jersey from SAVAGE. Some of the toughest competition in High School Ultimate took place within the past month at the 2016 High School Regional Championships, hosted by USA Ultimate. There was so much talent and passion for the sport; we were proud to be the official merchandiser and support the growth of youth ultimate.
